Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, and the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, discussed process of preparation for joint celebration of the 65th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War, the agency reports citing the president's press service. According to the press service, N. Nazarbayev held a telephone conversation with D. Medvedev. The leaders of the states discussed the condition and prospects of development of the Kazakhstan-Russian relations, the course of preparation for joint celebrations of the 65th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War and the summit of the Commonwealth of Independent States, which will be held in Moscow on May 8, 2010. The officials discussed the questions of bilateral cooperation of Kazakhstan and Russia in EurAsEC and SCO.
