The CIS Executive Secretary, Sergey Lebedev, said during the International Economic Forum of the CIS member states - New Initiatives in a Year of Presidency of Russia in the CIS, the agency reports. "It is now obvious that prospects of development of the economy of the CIS countries is in the innovative way of development. The Commonwealth does not have any other ways except for formation of the economy based on knowledge, innovative economy. For this reason, 2010 has been named the year of science and innovation," S. Lebedev said.
