Astana. March 2. Kazakhstan Today - The economy of Kazakhstan has been forecasted to grow by 2 % in 2010. The Minister of Economy and Budgetary Planning of Kazakhstan, Bahyt Sultanov, informed during the government's session on Monday, the agency reports.

"Taking into account positive price dynamics in the world commodity markets, the forecast of the world price for oil in 2010 has increased from $50 up to $65 per barrel. Proceeding from the specified external factors and internal conditions of development, in 2010, the economy growth has been forecasted at the level of 2 %," B. Sultanov informed.

"Volumes of industrial products will increase by 3.3 %. Oil extraction volume in 2010 will total 80 million tons. Export in 2010 will be $49.6 billion and import - $34.2 billion

The Minister informed that "inflation in 2010 will be at the level of 6 - 8 %."

B. Sultanov said, "124.3 billion KZT has been allocated by the National Fund to realize the assignments of the head of state. The guaranteed transfer will be increased up to 1.2 trillion KZT." "The forecast of the republican budget income (without transfers) will be increased by 103 billion KZT. Additional income receipts have been forecasted due to the following factors: by 61.3 billion KZT in connection with introduction of the uniform custom duties; by 19.6 billion KZT - corporate income tax; by 22.1 billion KZT - receipts for use of the natural resources. The republican budget receipts will reduce by 13.7 billion KZT in connection with re-structuring of the budgetary credits, which have been allocated by the local executive powers for housing construction," he informed.
