Astana. March 1. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, at the plenary session of the Council of Businessmen on Friday criticized the law enforcement bodies for stopping production during checks of the enterprises of small and medium business, the agency reports.

"I understand you needed to check but why it was necessary to stop manufacture? Who has allowed doing it? Who has allowed stopping manufacture?," N. Nazarbayev said.

"We work as if the law enforcement bodies are one struggling party and business is another party," he noted. "We all have one goal: we work for prosperity of our country, one economy," he addressed the businessmen and the representatives of the law enforcement bodies.

The chairman of the Council of the Forum of Businessmen of Kazakhstan, Raimbek Batalov, addressed the President with the proposal "to protect business from too many inspections by modernizing public prosecutor's supervision."
