Astana. February 19. Kazakhstan Today - The government of Kazakhstan made the decision to shift socially-enterprise corporations to the regions's competence. The Minister of Economy and Budgetary Planning of Kazakhstan, Bahyt Sultanov, informed today, following the results of the government's session in an interview to journalists, the agency reports.

"Socially-enterpise corporations will be also called as corporations for business support." "They will keep their assets which they have accumulated and their status of the national companies."

The head of state, Nursultan Nazarbayev, in his annual Address to the people of Kazakhstan assigned the government to transfer socially-enterprise corporations to the local executive powers on January 29.

"The government along with the akims will include to the three-year budget general limits of financing, based on calculations of the economic potential of each region. These funds will be transferred to the regions and their akims will be responsible for the projects of small and medium business financed by this program," N. Nazarbayev said.
