The Common Economic Space (CES) of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine allows to increase opportunities and the competitive potential of our countries in their trade with third countries. This opinion has been expressed by Victor Khristenko, minister of industry and energy, KZ-today has been advised by the MFA of RF.

According to V. Khristenko the CES concept suggests that apart from a common space for the traffic of commodities it is necessary to create a common space for the traffic of capitals, services, and workforce.

"Today there is a big number of barriers operating at this space, moreover, each state shows its high refinement erecting them on absolutely legitimate bases and protecting its national business," - he pointed out.

"We must consolidate our potential, harmonise norms of the economic turnover in the areas of commodities, services, investment, form a real economic union. The CES allows to increase opportunities and the competitive potential of our countries in their trade with third countries," - V. Khristenko observed.
