Kazakhstani parliament goes on vacation

Deputies of the Kazakhstani parliament are on vacation as from Thursday, July 1, KZ-today correspondent reports.

According to the mazhilis press service, the parliamentary vacation includes both the labour leaves of the deputies and meetings with the electors in the regions. This year the majority of the meetings will be dedicated to the forthcoming elections in the mazhilis of the parliament of the third convocation as of September 19.

In the beginning of September the deputies from both parliament chambers will gather at a joint meeting to open the sixth parliamentary session.
