It was reported by Kazhmurat Nagmanov, minister of transport and communications, at the international conference "TransEurasia-2004", with the reference to the international expects analysis. "Located at the center of the Eurasian continent with developed transport and communication network, Kazakhstan has all opportunities to take a significant place on the market of the international transit traffic," K. Nagmanov believes. According to his opinion, these factors could attract substantial foreign investment to the republic. "It is extremely important that transport corridors of Kazakhstan coming across the regions rich in minerals and perspective in their developing," the minister stressed. Due to his words "transport system development, transport corridors establishment, modernization of communications will promote an increasing of the production and employment rate in the regions". Thus, "transit will promote to develop not only the transport system and their adjoining branches but also the economy of the republic," K. Nagmanov noted
