"MINTECH 2004" to take place in Ust-Kamenogorsk

69 companies from 10 countries will participate in "MinTech 2004" exhibition, organized by International Exhibition Company "Kazexpo", which will take place in Ust-Kamenogorsk, oblast center of East Kazakhstan, KZ-today informs.

According to the organisers, the companies from Germany, the USA, Poland, Turkey, Switzerland, Finland, China, Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan operating in mining, metallurgical and coal industries will present the technologies and equipment. Peculiarity of the exhibitions is active participation of the Russian companies.

Talgatbek Abaidildin, akim of EKO, the representatives of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the managers of industrial enterprises took part in the opening ceremony.

Maria Moldagaliyeva, president of "Kazexpo", started that the place of exhibition was chosen because the enterprises supplying the equipment prefer to participate at the exhibition, which is carried out in industrial centers. According to M. Moldagaliyeva, East Kazakhstan is actively developing and Ust-Kamenogorsk is one of these centers.

The exhibition will be opened 3 days. All interested persons not only specialists will be able to attend it. The participants will meet manufacturers and visit a number of enterprises of Ust-Kamenogorsk and Redder.

Besides, scientists within the delegation will take part in the conference "Modern technologies in mining and production of non-ferrous metals"

"Kazzinc" JSC, "Ulbinsk metallurgical plant", "Titanic-magnesium works" are the leading enterprises in mining industry in East Kazakhstan.
