CIS, OSCE observers to monitor parliamentary elections in Tajikistan

According to the chief of the CEC Secretariat Mukhibullo Dododzhonov, only 50 CIS observers will be able to monitor the forthcoming parliamentary elections, as on this very day the elections will also take place in Kyrgyzstan and Moldova. 3,000 standard and 3,000 handheld transparent voting boxes made in China will be delivered to Tajikistan until 10 January, 2005. The total coast of 6,000 transparent voting boxes is 600,000 billion somoni, Mr. Dododzhonov noted.
