President sent law on elections to the Constitutional Council

Earlier it was reported that the new legislation on elections had been discussed for more than one year. As a result the government version of the draft law was accepted as a basis. The parliament started a review of that document on 26 December, 2003, but the deputies could not surpass their disagreements and created a special conciliatory commission. The law "On changes and amendments in the Constitutional Law "On elections in RK" was passed on 15 March, 2004. |
