Alcohol Plant constriction to be continued
14:43 02.03.2004
text: "Kazakhstan Today" views: [66] As it was stated by the akim of West Kazakhstan Oblast Nurgali Ashimov at a press conference to journalists in order to finish the constriction of the Alcohol Plant which was started in Uralsk in 1998 it is necessary to allocate $9 million. It is necessary to consider some issues to finish the construction, he stressed. Currently the debt of the plant to the budget of the Republic made $19 million, the assets were allocated as a credit on the purchase of an equipment. They also have $700 thousand debt to the constructors of WKO. "Having that debts it is impossible to find investors," N. Ashimov stressed. The construction of the plant "is under discussion" of the government and it is suggested that "it will be financed by the budget of the republic up to 2010, and from 2010 up to 2015 the debt will be paid off," the akim said. The project capacity of the plant is 1 billion liters per year. "The capacities are rather significant, we will not be able to sold the whole volume," the akim assumed. Due to this currently the possibility of alcohol supply to the refinery of Atyrau is under consideration in order to produce hexane to the foreign market.
