As it was declared the press service of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Atasu-Alashankoy-Dushanzi pipeline construction project was discussed on 2 March at the meting chaired by the Prime Minister, Daniyal Akhmetov.

According to the analysis given by the specialists oil demand will exceed the supply in the West regions of China in the near-term outlook that has an update tendency. In case of successfully construction China intends to transport oil from Kazakhstan including the Caspian region, as long as the scheduled volume with the second part of transporting - 20 million tons per year is not enough.
