Kazakhstan has imported various oil products for an amount of $422.856 million in 2003. The growth of import of combustive and lubricating substances in comparison with 2002 has made more than 18%, KZ-today has been advised by the Customs Control Agency.

According to the Agency, the total growth of import of excisable commodities made 24% - $825.346 million in 2003 against $624.684 million in 2002. In particular, cars for an amount of $341.444 million have been imported to Kazakhstan (the growth of import more than 32%), alcohol - for 16.612 (25%), caviar for $13.187 million (10%), beer - for $15.510 (42%), jewellery for $4.346 (25%).

Tobacco products for an amount of $8.847 million have been imported, which is by $3.6 million less than in 2002.
