Duvanov transferred under administrative control

The administration of labour settlement LA-155/13 near Almaty continues to carry out control over prisoner Sergey Duvanov, serving his prison term there, a report circulated by the press service of the committee of penal executive system of the Ministry of Justice of RK on 19 January says.

The report observes that on 29 December, 2003, the municipal court of Kapchagai, on presentation of the administration of penitentiary institution, where S. Duvanov had previously been imprisoned, made a decision to transfer him for exemplary behaviour to a labour settlement near Almaty. By that time S. Duvanov had served 1/3 of his prison term.

Currently S. Duvanov has got employment and works out of the settlement territory. On permission of the settlement administration he resides in his apartment with his family. As per the current legislation he moves without surveillance within Almaty, has a right to use civil clothes, possess money and valuable items, use them freely.

The administrative control over S. Duvanov suggests his obligatory appearance for registration as per the established schedule.
