"The expedition aims to unite world countries in fighting the AIDS," - J. Franz said to Kazakhstani journalists at a press conference. He said that the expedition had started June 25 in Hanover, Germany. The race proceeds from Germany through Poland, Belarus, Ukraine, Russia, Kazachstan to Kyrgyzstan. - The objective is to ascend to the Victory Peak (the highest peak in the Tian Shan mountain range). A red ribbon will be erected on the peak as a sign of the expedition and a symbol of fighting against the AIDS. There are signatures of governments of the countries already visited by the expedition on that red ribbon. |
