Heads of CIS countries congratulate president of RK

A telephone conversation between the president of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and the president of Russia Vladimir Putin took place in the afternoon on July 6. The head of Russia congratulated his colleague and wished him further success for the sake of his country and people, KZ-today has been advised in the press service of presidential administration of RK.

The president of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma wished strong health and all the best in a telephone conversation as well, - the press service report observes. The head of Kazakhstan has also been congratulated by the president of Turkmenistan Saparmurat Niyazov.

The interlocutors discussed a number of issues related with bilateral co-operation, as well as several aspects of the forthcoming summit of CIS member states due to take place in early autumn in Astana.
