ISS 11th expedition cosmonauts go to orbit

The Ministry of Emergencies has observed that the rocket flight is carried out as per the schedule. To eliminate possible consequences related with the launch, the emergency rescue forces and means of the emergency management departments of East Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Pavlodar, and Kyzylorda regions were in the state of alert from 4.46 AM to 07.46 AM of 15 April. The crew and the ISS 11th expedition are commanded by Russian cosmonaut Sergey Krikalev. The crew also includes a US astronaut John Phillips and Roberto Vittori from the European Space Agency. |
