Currently, in the government there are draft laws "On non-government organisations" and "On state social welfare". According to the press conference participants, the shame is that when the documents were prepared those, whom they concern directly were not involved. "If the law in this edition is passed it will lower investments into the civil sector. It's not a secret for anybody, that the majority of our events are held at the expense of support from the international donor structures. The draft law provides a number of constraints for foreign organisations and they can "withdraw themselves", - Inessa Franz, president of the Institute of cooperation for the development. The NGO representatives issued appeals to the president and to the parliament with a request to listen to their opinion. |
