Ambassador of RK in Egypt presented his credentials in Lebanon

Baghdad Amreyev, ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of RK in the Arab Republic of Egypt and a number of other Middle East and African countries, presented his credentials to the president of Lebanese Republic Al-Imad Emile Lahoud in the presidential palace in Beirut. After the official ceremony a conversation between the ambassador and the president of Lebanese state took place, KZ-today correspondent has been advised by the information and analysis department of MFA of RK.

The president of Lebanon expressed his satisfaction with the appointment of the first Kazakhstani ambassador in Lebanese Republic and a hope that this step on the part of Kazakhstani government would give an impact to the development of cooperation between the two countries. He confirmed the interest of Lebanon in the development of its relations with Kazakhstan and his invitation to the president of RK Nursultan Nazarbayev to visit Lebanon officially.

In his speech the ambassador of Kazakhstan gave information about the political, cultural and spiritual life of Kazakhstani people, spoke about the republic achievements in the last few years.
