At the same time E. de Montesquieu has observed that it was a personal opinion.
N. Abykayev in his turn said the following: "We highly appreciate the France's interest towards Central Asia, and, in particular, Kazakhstan. The senate speaker has said that the aspiration of Kazakhstan to chair the OSCE is due to its wish "to make its own contribution into provision of stability on the Eurasian space."
N. Abykayev has observed that an address from Jacques Chirac, president of France, highly estimating Kazakhstan's achievements during the independence years and plans of accelerated modernisation of the country, stated in the recent president Nazarbayev's address to the people of Kazakhstan, was perceived with big interest in the country. A necessity of closer co-operation between the parliaments of both countries has also been marked at the meeting. |
