The order about awarding was signed by S. Niyazov on 27 December, 2003. The document stresses special merits of A. Zhumabayev "in developing and strengthening political, economic, cultural relations between neutral Turkmen republic and brotherly Republic of Kazakhstan". Earlier it was reported that by order of the president of RK Nursultan Nazarbayev A. Zhumabayev had been relieved from the duties of ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary in Turkmenistan and appointed ambassador of Kazakhstan in Ukraine. |
