Grigory Marchenko, first vice premier, has stated this at a press conference in Astana today, on 24 February. He says that introducing changes into the tax legislation is related with the programmes that are currently under preparation, among which G. Marchenko has mentioned the education development concept, the housing programme, the social welfare system improvement, the healthcare system reform programme, as well as the legalisation of the shadow economy. The vice premier has observed that all programmes "will be ready approximately in March-April, they will be published in mass media for discussion". "If the laws are passed by the parliament in the end of the year, then we will function in another mode as a country as from 1 January, 2005", - G. Marchenko has concluded. |
