Pakistan attaches big importance to the visit of the president of RK

Pakistan attaches big importance to the forthcoming visit of the president of RK Nursultan Nazarbayev, planned for 8-9 December, Pervez Musharraf, president of Pakistan, stated receiving credentials from the ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of RK Beibit Issabayev.

KZ-today has been advised in the information and analysis department of the MFA of RK that the credentials presentation ceremony took place in accordance with tradition in the residence of the president of Pakistan Aivan-y-Sadr. During the meeting the president of Islamic Republic of Pakistan and Kazakhstani diplomat discussed current issues, condition and prospects of bilateral co-operation.

B. Issabayev assured the head of Pakistan that he would apply all efforts for strengthening relations between the two countries. He also informed P. Musharraf about results of the fifth session of intergovernmental Kazakh-Pakistani joint commission, which had taken place on 1-2 December in Islamabad. The ambassador stressed that during the session a fruitful work on discussing and agreeing on a number of subjects related with trade and economic, scientific and technical, and cultural co-operation had taken place. It was also stated that during the visit of Kazakhstani president to Pakistan a number of important bilateral agreements was going to be inked.
