According to the committee for statistics, 38.1% in the GNP structure belong to the industry, 11.4% - to the agriculture, 13.0% - to the construction, 7% - to the transport, 2.5% - to the postal services and communications, 12.5% - to the social and other services, and the rest to other economic areas. The volume of the GNP per head in Azerbaijan was 5 million 114.8 thousand mantas or $1,041 in 2004 (9.2% growth against 2003). $1 equals 4,901 manats. |
