Kurmanbek Bakiyev, president of Kyrgyzstan, proposed the candidacy of F.Kulov to the parliament on August 28. As per Kyrgyz legislation, the deputies must respond during one week. The appointment of F.Kulov as the head of government was one of the conditions for the Bakiyev-Kulov pre-election tandem.
Today, September 1, the parliament of Kyrgyzstan resumes its work after the summer vacation. Apart from the Kulov's appointment the parliament will review the issue of the government structure and other draft laws. In total there are 40 drafts law on the September agenda. |
