New ambassador of RK to Spain meets Spanish king

Nurlan Danenov, new ambassador of Kazakhstan to Spain, has presented his credentials to Juan Carlos I, a report circulated by the foreign ministry press service says.

During the conversation that took place after the ceremony, the sides discussed promising trends in the bilateral co-operation. In particular, they marked a priority of further growth in commercial and economic connections and an attraction of Spanish hi-tech companies to the Kazakhstani market.

The Kazakhstani diplomat stressed special significance that Kazakhstan attached to co-operation with Spain and to a joint efficient counteraction to modern threats. He also noted an importance of our republic's support by Spain in the statehood construction, the development of a competitive market economy, and the creation of an open society.

Juan Carlos I in his turn stressed his special attitude towards Kazakhstan and observed that Spain highly estimated successes of the republic in building a stable, democratic, jural state and its economic achievements.
