Summit Eurasia-2002 in Almaty demonstrates the investors' interest in Kazakhstan

Foreign investors regard the investment climate in the country as very positive . It is proved by the fact that Eurasian economic summit, part of Davos forum, takes place in Kazakhstan, Richard Matzke, ex-Vice Chairman of ChevronTexaco company, emphasized. On Tuesday Nursultan Nazarbayev received R.Matzke, who had arrived to participate in Eurasia-2002 summit, in his residence.Particularly, on results of the meeting R.Matzke observed that the current legislation of the Republic complies with the requirements necessary for investors' work in the long term. In this respect R.Matzke noted that further cooperation of the government of the country with the World Economic Forum will help to increase the number of investors in Kazakhstan.
