POPE JOHN PAUL II APPEALED KAZAKHSTAN'S PEOPLE TO RECOGNIZE THE RIGHT ON THE RELIGIOUS FREEDOM

Pope John Paul II appealed Kazakhstan's people to put freedom's protection - the main right of each human individual - into the base of social responsibilities. He underlined the necessity of recognizing the right on the religious freedom , in which express beliefs , keeping in the deepest sanctuary of human individual.

The head of the Rome Catholic Church underlined, that in Kazakhstan, that occupies one of the first place in the world at the geographical length, live people, belonging to more than 100 nationalities, and the Constitution of the country guaranties equal rights and freedoms for all of them.

" Mind of openness and cooperation forms the part of your tradition, because for a long time Kazakhstan has been being the land of meeting and neighbor of different traditions and cultures", - said Pope. In his greeting speech Pope John Paul II applied to the brothers of Christian Church to join all forces.
