THE LABOR DEPARTMENT OF THE SOUTHERN- KAZAKHSTAN REGION HAS STOPPED THE ACTIVITY OF THE COMPANIES, OCCUPYING WITH LABOR FORCE EXPORT

The Director of the Ministry Labor Department and Social protection of the citizens in the Southern-Kazakhstan region Mr. A. Buletov announced this news. The labor department notified the companies to eliminate infringements and sent the letter to the labor ministry with the suggestion of stopping their activity until changing the situation. If the companies don't react to the notification , the department will suggest to take aside the license. There are 10 companies in Shimkent, having the license in the labor force export. The stuff of labor department together with Office of Public Prosecutor and migratory police checked up 8 of them. The examination showed, that about 200 citizens of the Southern-Kazakhstan region were sent abroad for work by the companies in 2001, and all these people were sent illegally. As the sending companies didn't show individual contracts with foreign employers, our citizens don't have insurance, don't know labor conditions, don't have any quarantines of getting salary, and the main thing, they don't know the conditions of returning back. During 2000-2001 7 citizens of the Southern-Kazakhstan region, sent abroad for working, perished there according different reasons. The company "Daulet" sent three of them. The representatives of the region labor department performed in local mass media with the purpose of warning of the Southern-Kazakhstan citizens from the services of unfair companies.
