Amantai-kaji passes examination for knowledge of state language

Amantai-kaji, 63, is a head of the antinuclear front and of the all-Kazakhstani Peace March "Attan-Kazakhstan." He was one of the organizers of "Nevada-Semipalatinsk" movement.
In October, 1998, Amantai-kaji was nominated as a candidate for president, but he ws not registered because of an administrative breach - participation in an unsanctioned demo. |
