Astana. November 24. Kazakhstan Today - The ecological systems of Kazakhstan are under strong technogenic and anthropogenous influence. Vice Minister of Environmental Protection of Kazakhstan, Mazhit Turmaganbetov, informed during IV Civil Forum, the agency reports.

"The analysis of the ecological situation shows that almost all ecological systems of our country are under strong technogenic and anthropogenous influence," M. Turmaganbetov said.

Among the most serious problems, Vice Minister named the Aral and Semipalatinsk zone of ecological disaster, the Caspian and Balkhash regions, the territories of military-space ranges, processes of desertification, pollution of surface and underground waters, transboundary water problems, pollution of the air pool of the big cities and industrial centers".

"The systems of drainage system and sewer facilities are in an unsatisfactory condition," he noted. "Air pollution in the cities of Kazakhstan remains high. Emissions of the enterprises of energy, industry, construction industry, oil and gas complex and transport pollute the atmospheric air," M. Turmaganbetov said.
