Kazakhstan Today - The 26th session of the special working group on development of the Convention on the Legal Status of the Caspian Sea took place at the level of vice ministers for Foreign Affairs of the near-Caspian states. The parties coordinated some clauses of the project of the Convention on the Legal Status of the Caspian Sea in Ashkhabad, the agency reports citing Turkmenistan: the Golden Age.
According to the edition, the agenda of the session included a complex of questions, including development of transport communications, sea safety, and ecological condition of the Caspian Sea, in particular, preservation and protection of its biological resources.
The session participants accepted the communique and reached an arrangement to hold the next 27th session of the special working group in the first quarter of the next year in the capital of the Islamic Republic of Iran - Teheran.
