November 4. Kazakhstan Today - Five-star hotels in Almaty have unreasonably high prices. Akim of Almaty, Ahmetzhan Esimov, stated during the meeting in akimat concerning tourism development on Tuesday, the agency reports citing akim's press service.
A. Esimov said that one of the problems constraining development of tourism is absence of special excursion service organizations for tourists in the city and shortage of low-cost budget hotels. The akim of the city has given an assignment to organize courses for preparation and improvement of professional skills of guides and excursion workers. A. Esimov underlined that five-star hotels have unreasonably high prices.
