Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, paid special attention to strengthening of national unity at XV session of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan on Monday, the agency reports.
"The world-known scientists, the leading experts and politicians discuss three main versions of further development of the global crisis," N. Nazarbayev said.
"The first variant - the crisis has one-time character. It has reached its bottom and we are now overcoming it. The second variant - we have fallen to the bottom, but the restoration period will last for 10 - 15 years. The third variant - the crisis is system, global, and long. It will result, probably, in change of the world social and economic formation," he said.
"We should be ready to any turn of events. We have sustained the first impact of the world crisis. It is now important to unite the society to overcome any other challenges in the future."
