Kazakhstan Today - Mayor of Almaty, Ahmetzhan Esimov, discussed with the mayor of Istanbul (Turkey), Kadyr Topbas, organization of public transportation work, the agency reports citing the press service of Almaty mayor.
According to the press service, A. Esimov held a bilateral meeting with K. Topbas today during the days of culture of Almaty in Istanbul. The officials discussed organization of public transportation work. Construction of the underground and infrastructure development became one of the important topics of the meeting. The prospects of development of cultural-economic mutual relations between two cities have been discussed as well.
"About 13 million citizens use public transportation in Istanbul."
