Kazakhstan Today - Soyuz-U rocket with the cargo space vehicle Progress М-03М were launched from the cosmodrome Baikonur, the agency reports citing the Russian Space Department press service.
According to the press service, Soyuz-U rocket with the cargo space vehicle Progress М-03М were launched today at 07.14 Astana time from the starting complex of the platform №1 (Gagarin launch) of the cosmodrome Baikonur.
Тhe cargo space vehicle Progress М-03М was put into the set orbit.
According to Russian Space Department, joining of the space truck with the International Space Station (ISS) is planned for October 18, 2009 at 07.41 Astana time. The ship will deliver to ISS a stock of fuel for the station, equipment for research experiments, containers with food and water, and some parcels for the crew.
