Preparation for joint complex exercises CRRF CSTO proceeds

Astana. September 30. Kazakhstan Today - Preparation for joint complex exercises of the Collective Rapid Response Forces of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CRRF CSTO) has continued at the range Matybulak, the agency reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan.

"Almost all participants of the exercises - operative groups, military contingents and special purpose formations of the CSTO member countries have arrived for the exercises (settlement Gvardeyskiy of Zhambyl area)," the press service informed.

The joint strategic command-staff exercises Interaction-2009 are being held. The exercises in the regional commands East and Astana have already come to an end. The exercises in the regional command West are about to finish.

The closing stage of the exercises Interaction-2009 in the southern direction will take place with participation of CRRF CSTO and the leaders of the CSTO member states.
