September 30. Kazakhstan Today - The next session of the Council of Prime Ministers of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) will take place on October 14 in Beijing. The representative the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Peoples Republic of China informed on Tuesday in Beijing, the agency reports citing official mass media.
According to the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Peoples Republic of China, the leaders (or their representatives) of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, the SCO observer states, and the interested countries of the region will take part in the session by the invitation of the Prime Minister of the State Council of the Peoples Republic of China, Wen Jibao.
"The parties will exchange opinions on realization of the arrangements reached at the summit in Ekaterinburg, overcoming the world financial crisis, and strengthening of cooperation in development of the regional economy and the humanitarian sphere."
