Nazarbayev suggests introducing supra-national payment unit of a new class

Almaty. September 22. Kazakhstan Today - The head of the state suggested introducing the new supra-national payment unit of a new class. "The President's work The Fifth Way, published in Izvestiya newspaper, states.

N. Nazarbayev article states, "the negative factors will accrue only when we eliminate the main reason of the global crisis -its root - imperfection of the world currency-financial system, which created the global financial and economic crisis."

Having analyzed five scenarios of overcoming the crisis: "passive expectation of the bottom, currency swaps, remix of dollar, the supra-national emitter and the currencies of a new class," N. Nazarbayev said that the last, the fifth way, will give a chance to the world community with minimum of losses to quickly not only overcome the present crisis, but also to lay the ground for the new world effective financial and economic order.

"This way consists in joining the efforts of the group of close countries to work out and introduce the supra-national payment unit (and later currencies) of a new class," the head of the state writes.
