September 10. Kazakhstan Today - The project of the concept of cooperation in energy sphere will be discussed in Moscow at the session of the CIS Economic Council on September 11. The chairman of the CIS Executive Committee, Sergey Lebedev, informed in the interview, the agency reports citing the Executive Committee press service.
"The Council of Leaders of CIS States decided that the energy sphere will be the key direction of cooperation in 2009. The working group of the representatives of the CIS states along with the CIS Executive Committee prepared the initiatives regarding coordinated energy policy. The project of the concept of cooperation of the states in the energy sphere and the plan of priority measures for its realization have been the results of the work," S. Lebedev said.
