September 10. Kazakhstan Today - The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) at the session of the cartel passed in Vienna made the decision to keep the current level of oil extraction, the agency reports citing Bloomberg.
According to Bloomberg, OPEC declared that it will keep quotas for oil extraction at the same level relying on economic restoration to keep the prices for oil within about $71 per barrel.
The organization agreed to continue manufacture of 24.845 million barrels per day and will convince its members to keep to this strategy, OPEC Secretary General Abdallah al-Badri said at a briefing in Vienna.
