Prime Minister met Chairman of the Federation Council

Kazakhstani Prime Minister Daniyal Akhmetov received Chairman of the Federation Council Sergey Mironov today who is currently on an official visit in Kazakhstan, the press service of the government told KZ-today correspondent.

The parties expressed their satisfaction with the dynamically developing relations in trade and economic cooperation that is an evidence of good-neighbour relations and equal partnership between two states.

According to interlocutors, Russia and Kazakhstan have a good outlook for further development in fuel and energy complex, transport, innovation and investment spheres.

During the meeting Daniyal Akhmetov positively assessed the cooperation in space industry, having noted the implementation of two promising projects such as construction of "Baiterek" Space Rocket Complex and launch of Kazakhstani satellite "KazSat".

In his turn Sergey Mironov expressed satisfaction with the level of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia within the frameworks of the interregional organizations such as EurAsEC, CAC, CES, SCTO and expressed hope for further enhancement and enlargement of cooperation between two sates within these organizations frameworks.
