Tokayev heads for Switzerland

In Geneva Tokayev will take part in 58th UN session on human rights. Session will focus on watching rights of women and children, ethnic minorities, labor migrants, fighting racial discrimination, tortures, and religious prejudice. RK state secretary - minister of foreign affairs shall update the session on democratic developments in Kazakhstan, strengthening RK collaboration with UN and other international institutions fore human rights. Tokayev is also scheduled to speak at plenary session of disarmament conference, the only UN multilateral forum on disarmament control. During the visit RK state secretary - minister of foreign affairs will meet UN deputy secretary general Sergey Ordjonikidze, director general of international migration organization Ruud Lubers, leaders of WHCO. |
