Consultations between foreign ministries of the republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of India have taken place in Delhi. The Kazakhstani delegation has been headed by Mukhtar Tleuberdin, vice foreign minister, KZ-today has been advised by the information and analysis department of the MFA of RK.

During the consultations the parties have discussed issues of trade and economic relations between the two countries, their co-operation on the international arena, as well as regional and international problems, representing mutual interest.

Special attention has been paid to the realisation of agreements reached on the top level in February, 2002, in Delhi, and in June, 2002, in Almaty. During the meeting an opinion on the necessity of further growth of co-operation in the oil & gas sector, в the information technologies, the medium and small business has been expressed.

The head of Indian delegation, deputy foreign minister R. Abhyankar has stated that India attaches big importance to the development of bilateral relations with our country.

The negotiations have shown a high interest on the part of both countries in developing mutually beneficial co-operation with a significant potential and good prospects.
