Azerbaijan plans to ink a contract with "Fitch"

Avez Alekperov, minister of finance of Azerbaijan, has advised journalists about this, KZ-today correspondent reports from Baku. According to А. Alekperov, the agency experts will arrive in April, 2004, to Baku, to discuss this issue and after that a contract for 3 years may be inked. The minister has observed that in the case that "Fitch" refuses, the contract for that job will be inked with some other rating agency. "There are other rating companies in the world that carry out this work", - he has observed. А. Alekperov has also stated that 350.4 million manats (around $50 thousand) will be allocated from the state budget 2004 for inking that contract. |
