The party expresses a hope that "competent authorities will carry out a required investigation, reveal the guilty and make them bear the punishment provided by the national law." Earlier it was reported that two explosions had occurred by the building in which the city branch office of "Otan" republican party was located. As a result one person, a passer-by, was injured. A telephone switchboard in which the explosive device had been supposedly installed was destroyed. Windows in the first and second floors of the building have been broken as well. Almaty police regards hooliganism as one of the chief versions of the incident. |
