It is planned that the NATO secretary general will arrive in Dushanbe from Tashkent today, October 20, in the afternoon, KZ-today has been advised by the MFA of RT. It is expected that during his visit to Tajikistan Jaap de Hoop Scheffer will carry out negotiations with the government of the country and discuss the current state and development prospects of the bilateral co-operation between the republic and the NATO per "Partnership for peace" programme. The NATO secretary general started his four day tour to Central Asian countries October 18 from a visit to Bishkek. Yesterday, October 19, the head of alliance was in Almaty, from where he departed last night for Tashkent and further to Dushanbe. From Tajikistan he will fly to Turkmenistan Thursday, October 21. |
