The Central Election Commission told KZ-today correspondent. Earlier it was reported, 681 persons presented their documents for registration in the CEC by 9 of August, 623 candidates have been registered. Meanwhile, over 70 persons have withdrawn their candidatures during the previous month. Thus, 552 candidates will contest 67 seats in the lower house of Kazakhstan's parliament. The elections for the lower house of Kazakhstan's parliament will take place on 19 September.
