ChevronTexaco company on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan has issued an Album "Fine Arts of Kazakhstan. 20th Century".

Presentation of the Album was held in Almaty on November 30, 2001. This is the first edition in the RK dedicated to the history of fine arts of Kazakhstan. It includes up to 300 illustration of over 200 authors many of which are published for the first time. The message of reference in the Album is presented in the Kazakh, Russian and English languages. It also contains information on the fate of artists who had direct links to social and political events defining the history of the 20th century. Content of the Album is based on real facts and has references to correspondent sources. The Album is divided by thematic chapters reflecting historical phases of establishment and development of the National school of arts.
